Great weekend of playoff hockey from the Caps.  They finally closed out the Rangers in 5 games, but not after a two OT three goal comeback in game 4.  This video is a take on the History will be made commercials, featuring Jason Chimera’s confidence crushing goal from game 4.  Love it.

Very cool visualizations.  This will be interesting to see how the Times ends up using it.  Click through to watch the overview video.

There’s a lot of buzz about the new Foo Fighters album.  I have been listening to it on Grooveshark, and I gotta say, this is a welcome return back to actual rock music as compared to the stuff that I hear on the radio.  Hearing guitars sound like this make me happy.  Consider this album bought.

They’re right.  This could have been a lot cooler with a soundtrack. (via Visualized: Android activations mapped geographically, chronologically, breathtakingly (video) — Engadget)

This is something I do all the time to songs on the radio in the car, so I figured I might as well record it.
